As political and funding landscapes shift\, the health of migrants and refugees risks being deprioritised\, despite the clear evidence that there can be no public health without migrant health. \nWe invite you to a side-level event entitled “No Public Health Without Migrant Health: Reinforcing Global Commitment Amidst Geopolitical and Funding Shifts” \n\n\n\nDate and Time\nTuesday\, 14 October 2025\, 11:00-12:30 CET\n\n\nLocation\n Berlin Global Health Collective\n\n\nAddress\nDorotheenstr. 83 | Entry: Neustädtischer Kirchplatz\nDE-10117 Berlin\, Germany\n[8 min driving distance from the WHS venue]\n\n\n\nCo-hosted by Virchow Foundation and GHA – German Health Alliance and supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) and other partners\, this event takes place against the backdrop of the World Health Summit (WHS) in Berlin\, October 12-14\, 2025. \nIt builds on WHO’s Global Action Plan on promoting the health of refugees and migrants\, as well as the Joint Call “Reinforcing the Commitment to Addressing Migration & Health as a Global Public Health Priority” initiated by the Virchow Foundation end of May 2025 on the sidelines of the 78th World Health Assembly and endorsed by nearly 40 international organisations and institutions.
