Experience the Award Ceremony 2024 Musicians

Berlin Philharmonic Brass Quintet

The Berlin Philharmonic Brass Ensemble is one of the longest performing chamber music groups in the Philharmonic. It was hence a special pleasure to welcome a dedicated quintet of this ensemble to the Virchow Prize 2024 Award Ceremony.

Adelle Nqeto | Singer & Songwriter

Hailing from Pretoria, South Africa, singer-songwriter Adelle Nqeto began her solo project in 2015. She's played many South African venues and festivals. She often joins forces with an eclectic group of musicians, with whom she completed an independent European Tour in the summer of 2018, as well as a South African tour thereafter. Now based in Berlin, Germany, her music has been best described as "Alternative African Folk" with traces of Jazz and Pop sensibilities.
