The Virchow Prize

Towards Health for All

THE VIRCHOW PRIZE LECTURES

The Virchow Prize Lecture is an integral part of the Virchow Prize celebrations on the weekend in middle of October every year. Always a day ahead of the festive Virchow Prize Ceremony, the traditional Virchow Prize Lecture brings together the Virchow Prize Laureates, internationally leading health experts and an esteemed audience. These dedicated lectures serve as important and outstanding opportunity to learn directly from globally leading and highly awarded researchers who are very successfully addressing some of the world’s most serious health challenges and threats while dynamising and significantly accelerating progress towards „health for all“. The Virchow Prize Lecture is traditionally hosted by the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT Berlin). Since 2024, the Virchow Prize Lectures are published in international, peer-reviewed science journals.
