The Virchow Prize is a major international award which recognizes and celebrates outstanding achievements towards “health for all” that are closely linked to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

Laureates of the highly prestigious Virchow Prize are honoured for their long-standing commitment to improving global health. Endowed with €500,000, this prize is awarded by the non-profit Virchow Foundation.
