Esteemed Co-Chair of the Virchow Foundation for Global Health Council and Ambassador for Global Health of France, Stéphanie Seydoux, to host the 2022 Virchow Prize for Global Health Award Ceremony
Berlin, September 30, 2022 – We are pleased to announce that Stéphanie Seydoux, esteemed Co-Chair of the Virchow Foundation for Global Health Council and Ambassador for Global Health of France, will be the Master of Ceremony on October 15, 2022 in Berlin.
The French Ambassador has been a powerful voice and advocate for global health within her government ensuring it, alongside gender equity in healthcare access, remain high on the political agenda. As Co-Chair of the Virchow Foundation Council, Stéphanie Seydoux states the Virchow Prize for Global Health brings “lettres de noblesse” to lifelong achievements in global health. Ambassador Seydoux’s vast experience and dedication to advancing global health will ensure an insightful and joyful moderation throughout the ceremony.
John N Nkengasong will be awarded the 2022 Virchow Prize for Global Health, held under the High Patronage of the German Federal President, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, on October 15 at 18:00 CET in Berlin.
